Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 August 2026

This policy explains what happens to your information when you use balinaturalpools.com. It is written to Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (Undang-Undang No. 27 of 2022, “UU PDP”), which is the law that governs us. The rights described below are offered to every visitor, wherever you live.

We are Bali Natural Pools, operating in Bali, Indonesia. In the language of the law, we are the data controller for this website.

What we collect

When you fill in the contact form, we receive your first name, last name, email address and whatever you write in the message. You choose what to tell us.

When you book a consultation, the booking service records your name, email address, time zone and the time you selected, plus anything you add in the booking notes.

When you simply browse, we receive standard analytics data: pages viewed, approximate location (usually city-level), device and browser type, how you arrived at the site, and how long you stayed. Our hosting provider also keeps routine server logs that include IP addresses.

We do not collect payment details through this website, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry, to hold consultations you have booked, and to understand which parts of the site are useful so we can improve them. That is all. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to tell repeat visits apart from new ones. It also loads Google Fonts and an embedded booking calendar, both of which involve your browser contacting those services directly — which means they receive your IP address.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will still work.

Who your information is shared with

We use a small number of third-party services to run this website. Each receives only what it needs:

  • Google Analytics — website usage data
  • Formspree — contact form submissions
  • Cal.com — consultation bookings
  • Amazon Web Services — website hosting and server logs
  • Google Fonts — serves the typefaces the site uses

Several of these providers are based outside Indonesia, mainly in the United States, so your information may be processed there. We do not share your information with anyone else unless we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and booking records are kept for as long as we are in contact with you about a potential project, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings. If you would like your information removed sooner, just ask.

Your rights

Under UU PDP you have the right to:

  • Know what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it
  • Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected
  • Have your data deleted
  • Withdraw consent you previously gave
  • Object to how we are processing your data
  • Receive your data in a portable form
  • Complain to the relevant Indonesian authority if you think we have got it wrong

To exercise any of these, contact us through the contact form and tell us what you would like done. We will respond as quickly as we reasonably can.

Security

We keep your information only in the services listed above, each protected by their own security measures and our account credentials. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we do not hold your data anywhere we do not need to.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.

Contact

Questions about this policy, or about your data, can be sent through the contact form.
